After a very short stint in PR for the third sector - incidentally, calling a journalist at the Evening Standard when they were on deadline is an experience he thinks all fresh-faced graduates need (He thinks he learned at least 4 new swear word combinations) - Ben taught himself how to code.
In the years after Ben became a perfectly below-average WordPress developer, and built a client base out of predominantly creative and branding agencies. Ben made up for his less-than-stellar coding with a willingness to meet for a coffee, discuss options and generally be a bit chatty - it turned out that was a relative novelty for various agencies and clients and as Ben’s freelance practice grew, he faced the inevitable question of “what next?”
Next was Lattimore+Friends (L+F) - a pure WordPress development and production partner for creative, branding and design agencies - launched in its first form in 2018.
